People focus on the outside. The person is on the inside.
Examples of external focus: houses, apartments, furniture, cars, other items of status and luxury, appearance, opinions of other people, a good time, delicious food.
The inner focus is indescribable, because we only feel it. It occurs when you simultaneously abandon the external focus, develop an understanding of your true self, your purpose, and an understanding of what is really going on around you.
